My name is Cathy Crafts-Allen. I work at Oak Grove School two days a week
(Thursday's and Friday's), and at Green St. School the other three days. I
see each student once a week, and the art curriculum focuses on the basic
art concepts and principles (line, shape, color,, texture, pattern, etc.)
appropriate with each developmental age. Using a wide variety of media, I
generally like to "weave" or integrate the art projects into the "core"
subject areas of math, literacy, science, and social studies. After all,
the arts are an integral part of our daily lives! Please feel free to
